It's Sew FunIt’s Sew Fun! develops children’s creativity through a variety of seasonal, functional and wearable, design, sewing and crafts projects. The program is interdisciplinary, interactive and immersive, using mixed media to create projects that are seasonal, functional and relevant. The experience gives students skills that open career pathways and can be used in their everyday lives.

K - 5 It's Sew Fun's youngest students learn the art of stitching and design, through a variety of fun-filled, hand sewing and craft projects. The class explores aesthetics, encourages creativity, and develops fine motor skills, using fabrics, needles, thread, glue and mixed-media, to create bags, stuffed animals, hats and tee-shirt designs.
6 - 8 In Middle School It's Sew Fun programs, students begin learning elements of design and how to use sewing machines, as they create more intricate hats, scarves, backpacks, bags, shorts, skirts, tops and slippers.
9 - 12 In It's Sew Fun 'Design Studio', students learn the elements of design, hand sewing and use of sewing machines to make clothing, bags, hats and more, using commercial and/or handmade patterns. Students also gain knowledge of clothing construction.
